A candlelit clock you cast spells on by drawing their signs, with a new spell to learn each day.
Spell reads whatever you draw over the time as the stroke of a wand. Trace a spell’s sign and it takes hold of the clock: a circle brings up the light, a Z freezes time, a stroke straight up sets the digits floating and an arch fills the hall with bubbles. Scribble over the clock to lift what you have cast.
Its spellbook holds 30 spells, from light and fire to time, motion and transformation, each with its sign beside it: six, the two room charms among them, come with a first trick, and the rest are learned one a day. The time stands among floating candles, on parchment, on the Arcane Orrery’s astral dial or in the stars, each with a theme of its own, and its sounds are made in your browser as you cast.
