Digits cut into strips that slide into the new figure one after another.
Shredded cuts every digit into ten horizontal strips, like paper through a shredder. When a digit changes, its strips switch to the new figure one after another from the top, each sliding in from the left or the right in turn, so for a moment the old digit and the new one are interleaved before they settle into one.
Tall, narrow black figures stand on off-white, with the seconds and the colon before them in red. It reads 12-hour or 24-hour time, the strips change without sliding when your device asks for reduced motion, and it fills the whole screen in its own colours. It is one of the fifteen digital faces of Clock with Seconds.
