The whole screen in the colour of the sky right now, with today’s sky drawn round a 24-hour ring.
Sky Dial is a 24-hour clock where the sky is the clock. The whole screen takes the colour of the sky outside right now, from deep indigo before dawn through rose at sunrise, pale gold in the morning and clear blue at noon to amber, violet at dusk and night. A slim ring holds the whole of today’s sky, with 00 at the top and the hours running clockwise, sunrise and sunset marked on it and a glowing bead at now.
The time sits large in the centre, always in 24-hour figures, with the part of the day and the daylight left beneath it, and today’s sunrise, sunset and day length below. Seconds can be shown too. The colours come from today’s real sunrise and sunset, worked out in your browser for your time zone, so it asks for no location and sends nothing anywhere.
