About the online alarm clock
A free online alarm clock that runs right in your browser — set an alarm for a specific time or a quick countdown, pick a tone, and it will wake you or nudge you when the moment arrives. No ads, no sign-up, and nothing to install.
Create repeating alarms for weekdays, weekends, or specific days, or one-time alarms for a single event. Choose from ten tones, snooze with a tap, sort your alarms by time, and enable browser notifications. It works great as a wake-up alarm, a meeting or break reminder, or a cooking and study timer.
Planning your rest? Build a sleep schedule: set a bedtime and a wake-up time and it shows exactly how many hours of sleep you will get, gives you a wind-down nudge at bedtime, and rings a wake alarm in the morning — a simple bedtime and wake-up calculator built into the alarm clock.
Frequently asked questions
Is this online alarm clock free?
Yes — it is completely free, with no ads and no account. Your alarms are stored locally in your browser, so your data stays private.
Will the alarm ring if I switch tabs?
Yes, the tone plays even when the tab is in the background, as long as the browser tab stays open and your device is awake. If you grant notification permission, you will also get a browser notification. For a guaranteed wake-up, keep the page open rather than closing the tab.
Can I set a repeating alarm?
Yes. Choose Daily, Weekdays, Weekends, or specific days of the week for a recurring alarm, or set a one-time alarm for a single date and time.
Can I set a bedtime and wake-up sleep schedule?
Yes. Switch the composer to Sleep to set a bedtime and a wake-up time. It shows your total hours of sleep, sends a gentle wind-down nudge at bedtime, and rings a wake alarm in the morning. Keep the browser tab open overnight so the wake alarm can ring.
How many hours of sleep should I get?
Most adults do best with about 7 to 9 hours a night. The built-in sleep schedule shows your total hours between bedtime and wake time, so you can aim for a healthy amount and adjust either time in seconds.
How do I set a quick alarm, like in 10 minutes?
Pick a quick preset time or set the exact hour and minute, then press Add alarm. The panel shows when it will next ring.
Can I change the alarm sound?
Yes — there are ten built-in tones. Set a default tone for new alarms in settings, and each alarm can use its own sound.
Can I snooze an alarm?
Yes. When an alarm rings you can snooze it for a set number of minutes, which you can change in settings.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The alarm clock runs entirely in your web browser on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops — no download required.
