How do I compare time across cities?

What is the world time map?
Explore current city times on an interactive world map with a day/night overlay and sun and moon markers. Search for a city, select its marker, and pin places you want to compare.
Does it show sunrise and sunset times?
Dedicated city clock pages show estimated sunrise and sunset from the city's coordinates and the date. These are approximate calculations, not forecasts of visibility or local weather.
Can I use it for scheduling meetings across time zones?
Add your team's cities to compare their current local times. For a future meeting, confirm the time difference on the meeting date: daylight saving changes can alter it, and this page is not a future-date meeting scheduler.
Does the world clock account for daylight saving time?
City clocks use IANA time-zone identifiers and the time-zone rules available in your browser. Seasonal clock changes are applied where those rules specify them. The separate UTC-offset explorer displays fixed offsets instead.
Where does the world clock get its time?
The clocks use your device's clock and your browser's time-zone data, not a separate time-server connection. Enable automatic date and time on your device and keep your browser and operating system up to date.
