Three rings of numbers turn like the dial of a safe, and the time is read along one line.
Combination Dial puts the hours, minutes and seconds on three rings of numbers that turn like the dial of a safe: the seconds on the outer ring, the minutes in the middle and the hours inside. Each ring brings its current value round to an orange reading band, so the time lines up across the face, and the numbers fade away above and below it. Warm cream figures stand on dark brown.
In 12-hour time the hours ring reads 12 and 1 to 11; in 24-hour time it holds 00 to 23. The seconds ring turns all the time, the minutes ring steps on at the end of each minute and the hours ring at the end of each hour. It fills the whole screen in its own colours and is one of the fifteen digital faces of Clock with Seconds.
