What is an AMRAP timer?

AMRAP — "as many rounds (or reps) as possible" — is a workout format where you pick a time cap and do as much work as you can before it runs out. This timer is exactly that: one continuous countdown (default 12 minutes) with a halfway beep and a 3-2-1 finish, so you never have to watch the clock.

Set your duration, press start, and go. The screen washes with colour and counts down large; a beep marks the halfway point so you can pace yourself, and the buzzer ends the effort. Want work/rest intervals instead? Use Custom on the interval hub.

AMRAP timer FAQ

How long should an AMRAP be?

Common caps are 10, 12, 15 or 20 minutes. Shorter (5–12 min) tends to be all-out; longer (15–20 min) is more of a grind. Pick a duration above and adjust any time.

Does it beep during the workout?

Yes — a beep marks the halfway point so you can pace, a 3-2-1 countdown warns of the finish, and a buzzer ends it. Mute any time with the sound toggle.

How is it different from EMOM or Tabata?

AMRAP is one continuous countdown — you set the pace. EMOM starts work at the top of each minute; Tabata is fixed 20s-on / 10s-off rounds. Switch styles on the interval hub.
