About the classroom timer
A classroom timer needs to be seen from every seat and controlled without breaking your flow. This one starts at 30 minutes — nudge it by 1 or 5 minutes and press Start — then fills the screen with giant digits, readable from the back of the room, that turn amber in the last minute and red in the final seconds.
While it runs, everything else fades away so only the time remains. Tap the time to pause, Restart to run it again, or Exit to set a new length. A bell rings until you stop it, the screen stays awake so your projector never sleeps, and it works offline — no account, no ads.

Is the classroom timer free?
Yes — it's completely free, with no account and no ads.
Can everyone in the room see it?
Yes — the digits fill the screen and read clearly from the back, and the colour shifts to amber in the last minute and red in the final seconds.
How do I set the time?
It starts at 30 minutes. Tap −5, −1, +1 or +5 to set any length from one minute up, then press Start.
What happens when time runs out?
The screen flashes “Time's up” and a bell rings until you press Stop (or any key).
Can I pause or restart it?
Yes — tap the time (or press Space) to pause and resume, Restart to run the same length again, and Exit to choose a new time.
Does it work on a projector in fullscreen?
It's built for projectors and smartboards: giant digits, a light screen by default (with a dark option), and a Fullscreen button — or press F.
Will the screen go to sleep while it runs?
No — while a timer is running it keeps the screen awake, so your projected countdown won't dim or lock.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded it runs offline, so a dropped connection won't stop your timer.
