Focus Clock
Need a timer?
Focus Clock keeps the time and your one task in view, and has no timer of its own. For timed sprints and breaks, run the Pomodoro timer in another tab or on another screen.
Open PomodoroA quiet grey clock, with the one thing you’re working on beneath it.
Focus Clock is a quiet screen for deep work. One large clock in a monospaced type sits on neutral grey, with the date and a small FOCUS label along the top and nothing else competing for your eye.
Under the time, write the one thing you’re working on in the field just above the options at the bottom, so every glance at the clock also reminds you what you sat down to do. Seconds show as a thin orange sweep that fills once a minute, as small digits, or not at all. There is no timer here, and the screen stays awake while the page is open.
Preguntas frecuentes
Where is my intention saved?
On this device, in your browser’s storage — there is no account and it is not sent anywhere. It stays until you change or clear it, every open tab shows the same one, and it is included when you export a backup.
How do the seconds work?
Pick Sweep, Digits or Off in the options at the bottom of the clock. Sweep draws a thin orange bar under the time that fills once a minute, Digits shows the seconds as small orange numbers beside it, and Off leaves hours and minutes only. With reduced motion on, the sweep steps once a second instead of gliding.
Why grey?
So nothing on the screen pulls at your attention. Neutral grey and one ink colour stay calm and read at a glance; the only colour is the orange of the seconds, and Off takes that away too.
Will my screen stay on?
Yes, while this page is open, in browsers that let a page keep the screen awake, so a spare monitor or a propped-up tablet does not go dark mid-session.
Can I use it on the main clock?
Yes. “Make this my clock” saves the Focus face as your main clock without leaving this page, and the note that appears links to it. Your intention and seconds mode are one setting for both; there, change them in Style, under Focus.
